Initial Consultation Details
1. Initial Consultation:
- The initial consultation is $500 for Individuals and $750 for couples.
- For couples, the initial consultation will be scheduled for a duration of 60 minutes.
- For couples, the initial consultation will be scheduled for a duration of 90 minutes.
- During the initial consultation, the counselor will assess the needs, goals, and suitability for counseling services. It's an opportunity for both the client(s) and the counselor to establish rapport and determine the best course of action moving forward.
2. Billing for Initial Consultations that exceed the allotted time:
- Any counseling session that exceeds the allotted time for the initial consultation will be considered a separate session.
- Beyond the initial consultation, the hourly rate for counseling sessions is $500 for individuals and $750 for couples per hour.
- Billing will be calculated based on the actual time spent in the session, rounded up to the nearest quarter-hour.
- It's important to note that the initial consultation time is not deducted from the subsequent sessions.
Please Note:
Insurance
We do not accept insurance and are therefore considered an Out-Of-Network (OON) mental healthcare provider.
If you have a PPO, we recommend you ask your insurance if they are willing to reimburse your mental health expenses. In some cases, they do. We can provide you with Superbills for reimbursement upon request.
You can also use your Flex Spending Account (FSA) and Health Saving Account (HSA) to pay for services.
Good Faith Estimate
Legally, we are required to provide you with a Good Faith Estimate for OON Mental Health Services. We recommend you budget to participate in (18) 60-minute therapy sessions, which is a $7,500 investment for individuals and $10,000 investment for couples in your self-care, mental health, and wellness, depending on the package of your choice.
For marriage counseling, we recommend you budget to participate in (18) 90-minute sessions which is a $10,000 investment.
Session Lengths
Your sessions can be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Many clients like to take advantage of the time between sessions to process the information discussed and focus on implementing strategies and techniques between sessions.”
Rescheduling Appointments
We have a no-cancellation policy for scheduled appointments. You can reschedule an appointment seven days before or after your original appointment if there is an absence. We will make every effort to find a time for you to reschedule. No-show appointments will be automatically billed at the standard rate of $250 for Individuals and $750 for Couples.
